Στην αρχή, κάθε μέτοχος έπρεπε να παραμείνει στο χωριό του για 6 χρόνια. Αργότερα άλλαξαν και επιλέγανε κάθε τόσο που οι οποίοι θα πηγαιναν κάθε χρόνο. Δηλαδη αλλαζαν θέσεις κάθε χρόνο.

Παρακατο είναι μια λίστα με τους Castellanus της Παρπαριάς απο το 1380 μεχρη το 1443. Από αυτό το έγγραφο αναφέρoνται τα Castellanus της Παρπαριάς.Documenti della Maona di Chio (Sec XIV-XVI) Antonella Rovere Genova MCMLXXIX (1979).1363- η κλήρωση χρησιμοποιείται για πρώτη φορά. Απο το 1380 to 1386 ο υπεύθυνος του Καστρου της Παρπαριας ειταν ο Venerio Campofregosi.Στη συνέχεια ξεκιναει το νέο λαχείο στην Παρπαρια.

In 1379 it had expanded to 13. The island was divided into 12 and then 13 districts. Every shareholder had two jobs. Parparia was assigned a shareholder with the title Castellanus to administer it's fort. The shareholder that had Parparia also was in charge of the castle for the village of Mesta. Later Parparia was paired with the job of the Clerk of the Chancery in Chios. Parparia was the head of the 5th district. At the begining, every shareholder had to stay in their village for 6 years. Later they changed the rule and were shareholders were chosen every year by lottery. Here is a list of the Castellanus of Parparia from 1380 to 1443.From this document were listed the Castellanus of Parparia. Documenti della Maona di Chio (Sec XIV-XVI) Antonella Rovere Genova MCMLXXIX (1979)1363 is when the lottery is first used.From 1380 to 1386 the Castellanus of Parparia is Venerio Campofregosi.

Afterwards the new lottery is started for Parparia
